Mabiati, a rapidly growing Iraqi e-commerce platform supported through Orange Corners Baghdad and the Orange Corners Innovation Fund (OCIF) Iraq, has secured a six-figure investment to strengthen its operations, expand its digital infrastructure, and accelerate the next stage of growth.
Founded by Iraqi entrepreneur Muhammad Al-Sultan, who has more than a decade of experience in e-commerce and digital business development, Mabiati is building a digital commerce ecosystem that enables individuals across Iraq to launch and operate online businesses without requiring upfront capital.
Since its launch, Mabiati has experienced strong and consistent growth, serving more than 20,028 customers across Iraq and achieving an average growth rate of approximately 40%. The platform continues to expand its network of suppliers, sellers, and logistics partners, further strengthening its position as one of Iraq’s emerging digital commerce platforms.
Through its platform, Mabiati connects suppliers, sellers, logistics providers, and customers in one integrated system that manages product marketing, order processing, fulfillment, and delivery tracking. The company also provides creative production support, including product photography and content creation services, to help sellers grow their online businesses more efficiently.
The investment comes during a critical period for Iraq’s market environment and will play an important role in strengthening the company’s long-term operational sustainability and expansion plans.
Mabiati has already used part of the investment to restructure existing liabilities, strengthen operational continuity, expand its workforce, launch the second generation of its platform, upgrade server infrastructure, and implement advanced automation systems across its operations.
The company also completed the development of a dedicated in-house production studio and expanded its marketing activities through partnerships with external advertising agencies and content creators.
“This investment allowed us not only to grow, but also to build stability during a very challenging economic period for the market. Through Orange Corners Baghdad and OCIF, we gained valuable support in refining our strategy, preparing for investment, and building stronger operational systems,” said Muhammad Al-Sultan, Founder of Mabiati.
Mabiati participated in Orange Corners Baghdad Cohort 10 and is currently among the Top 4 startups in Track 2 of OCIF Iraq.
“Mabiati reflects the growing potential of Iraq’s digital economy and the strength of local founders building scalable solutions for underserved markets,” said Hady El Samra, Head of Investments & Programs at Iraq Venture Partners. “The company has shown strong resilience, operational development, and a clear understanding of how to scale sustainably.”
The investment marks another important milestone for Iraq’s digital entrepreneurship ecosystem and highlights the growing ability of Iraqi startups to attract private capital and scale innovative business models.
